The Contemporary Art Museum of Niterói was inaugurated on the 2nd of september of 1996, and was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer. It's daring structure on a privileged locality, the neighborhood of Boa Viagem, at the city of Niterói, doesn't cease to entrance it's assiduous visitors. The building houses the Sattamini Collection, that consists of 1.300 works of art dated from the fifties until the present date. The MAC (Museu de Arte Contemporânea) of Niterói owns also it's own collection acquired through donations.
